Further information: Vintage monster receiver ca 1979. It's in pristine condition, it would be hard to imagine a better example out there, given how rare these units are too. It was serviced by the previous owner (approx 4 years ago) and has really stayed in dry storage since I acquired it. It's working as it should, no crackles. One dial lamp needs replacing - beyond this, it's all original and I had plans to do the LED conversion but never got around to it. The brushed aluminium analog dials and glass makes such a stunning contrast. I'd much prefer pick up, due to the unit's heft - but can discuss courier options with potential purchasers. Further information: Marantz CD-73 Made in Belgium Classic vintage CD player. I purchased this locally from a seller who claimed (not from Stereonet) that it was working perfectly. It was the claims of its analog like 'voice' and that caught my interest. Sadly, I connected it last weekend and it produces a hum, the hum goes after a few minutes of warm up. Without having technical knowledge or time to get it repaired, have just purchased a new unit. It seems to play discs without any issue. So I'm offering it here 'as is', for half of what i paid for it late last year with the fault as described. Happy to ship it at cost Australia wide, pick up is the preferred option. Further information: DV Karat 17D2 MkII In beautiful condition, with all original packaging. Dyna Vector Karat MkII. C 1987 (ish). Diamond cantilever. This was acquired by me already in place on a Rega TT I purchased some twelve or more years ago. The previous owner looked after his stuff to an obsessive level, though I am unsure of the actual hours on this cartridge. I have put at least 50 hours on it since in my ownership and thought I would keep it toward the exchange program, however it has sat around long enough and I'm hoping someone can put it to use. It does sound superb! The only issue to note is the little 'MkII' badge has fallen off. It is included in the box if the new owner wishes to stick it back on. It includes everything that came with it, long and short mounting screws, leads, documentation and original packaging including the plastic outer with original price tag. The last photo is my poor attempt to photo to stylus... Price includes postage Australia wide, or pick up is welcome also. Thanks for looking.
