This terrific Class A Single Ended solid state amplifier is cosmetically and operationally perfect - not a blemish. Comes with manual and manufacturer's box and packaging. It produces 25 w into 8 ohms and 13 w into 4 ohms. This unit is the most popular First Watt amplifier ever produced. There are many highly positive reviews of this unit by numerous respected reviewers. It's solidly and supremely well built overall. The only First Watt amplifier to have both single ended (RCA) and balanced (XLR) inputs. I'm a long time valve amp user, and have a particular pair of easy to drive speakers with which I wished to properly experience some First Watt amplification - I have chosen to keep an alternative First Watt amplifier - a difficult decision. However, the now proposed sale of the J2 in no way denigrates it's fabulous performance. One cannot keep them all. Price is firm and includes SNA fees to be paid on sale.

I have not really run it in, but I have decided to continue with my LAMM LP2.1 valve phonostage as my system is all valve and at the end of the day it's preferred. Nevertheless, this is an outstanding phonostage with a significant array of options including a very handy remote control which switches the unit on/off, between MM/MC, fixed loadings and a custom loading and mute. They are the excellent top of the range Finite Elemente Classic Cerebase equipment/loudspeaker and rack supports, designed and manufactured in Germany. They are significantly more effective than than the lower models in their range. Designed to carry up to 500kgs. component weight. The set comes in its own sturdy, hard plastic case with the installation/use instructions and accessories which enable the supports to be directly attached to racks and speakers.
