Soon I will be shifting and that means building an other HT .I am very happy with the one that I have got 16-9 106" screen . How costly is it to fit the projector with the lenses . For those who have already done so is there that much differance . What I am trying to say .Is it worth it .Kind regards , Sparkamp .

There are many sub configurations on the market . Why did you pick your one? was it price , size ,performance, or for the technical brilliance of the cube type subs or did your better-half pick one , or ,do you prefer DIY like me . Sparkamp .

Your surrounds matching does not really matter as much as having the front matching . very little dialogue comes from the surrounds . Reguards , Sparkamp .

Have you seen all the subs on the market . It is mind boggling . You have little 10" cubes Sun sub woofers going up to SVS subs 1/4 size of a piano , and everything in between . You have subs with built in amps ,subs with external amps . There are ported, sealed enclosures and some with virtually no enclosure , so on so on . Nowhere have i seen an article explaining to people the ins and outs of sub woofers so they will have a base knowledge should they go out looking for one . I have 2 15" subs in an 80 cuftsealed enclosure .That is the stage area under the screen .and a 120W amp to power the spkrs . I havnt put in a spkr roll off so they go 80 cps down to DC .This hasnt been a problem , so far , touch wood . aAs long as there isnt too much distortion coming from the woofers I suppose it realy matter what woofer one has , as long as it moves enougth air and you are happy with it . The 3 spkrs At front should be matched . Same brand and drivers , otherwise if any one is talking and moving across the screen the tones will change and make it sound terrible .Regards Sparkamp

Gooday I had the same problem and found the carpet mills will get the wool in and do what they call a short run . Go around and see them . regards Sparkamp.

Gooday milka I have a 7.1 set up with Klipsch speakers . Sure they are super clear and what a lot of people call bright .If the treble is turned down a bit they are brilliant . Sparkamp .

DAVID1 Gooday . Use british paints ultra flat . It is especially made for screens . It it cheep and you can buy it at bunnings in 2 l tins fot about $34 odd dollars.Regards Sparkamp .

Dont bother , One standard gpo is quite sufficent . If you want to , include A cheap surge arrestor to protect your expensive equiptment . Any other money spent is a waste . AlanM .

I'v tried Bi wiring and noticed no difference at all. Bi amping as a different matter and i actually found it to sound a little bit cleaner . But not worth all the money and effort .AlanM

Tandy 2002 . they sounded good when they were compleate .
