hi keith how is the back?

I'M NOT GOING TO STOP IN ADELAIDE! heaven forbid

i see u arent brave enough to return there either!

turn right at murray bridge was my intention and save a few k on the way to derby via perth

be gone about 10-11 days

i am risk manager on a project team helping the Ngarinyin clan help themselves

and we have acquired a car for our full time worker that needs delivering AND i need to see just how bad the situation of the locals is

now rather than just fill in lebowskis evenings

anyone done this trip and know any short cuts either to perth or perth to derby

im assuming the adelaide by pass is about the only saving?

and no we cant put it on the train we spent the money on the car

tasks b4 i go

negotiate to have dual fuel put on cheaply

arrange to meet WA senator in canberra for briefing

arrange to meet conservationists re alliances

talk to anthropolagist re additional land right claims they won 3 sq k deep in kimberley at marambabidi in marbo style high court case

negotiat with media firm representing KIMBERLEY LAND COUNCIL KLC who r in melbourne

re gas over say 5 years life of car is it worth the cost of dual fuel?

and yes it has been pointed out by partner that

1 'isnt this a bit late for a mid life crisis?'

2 'what r u going to do when something goes wrong?'

3 'will u please remember u cant see!'

4 'your going with that mad monk arent u?'< refers to earlier travel story and buying a computer in Sydney

back to u lebowski what were those adelaide ?s

ahhh off topic already suspect this is episode 1 of DERBY OR BUST

NO dont know bob neal

if there was a sting in the tail of that i missed it?

many people think DON Quixote is a relative given we r both mad and like tilting at wind mills

left town at age 11

so will need assistance from grumpy

so preserved meat= fritz

i would never require a pie floater

green death= the park lands that surround adelaides cbd strangling the life from it!

being 12 and the drinking age then 21 ive never been to the EXETER or any other hotel in adelaide

In that case, djb, keen followers of your adventure will be perplexed by the thread title.

I reckon it needs a new thread starting with your post No. 3.

Needless to say, Perth members will be ready with bread and water to help with the extra 3225kms to Derby from Perth.

Cheers

1. Enjoy bakery, corner of the Parade and Osmond Terrace, a 100 yards from Norwood Oval. 24/7 operation

2. Piecart ?? They keep shuting/moving/having irregular hours.

3. Villis Cafe, Mile End, just of South Road. 24/7 operation

WHAT THE !!!!

That will be some trip, more an adventure I'd say. Shame you don't like Adelaide and want to by-pass us, we have some very nice members, pie floaters, Fritz for your sangas to eat on the way and some Green Death to wash them down with(Southwark bitter Beer). Actually i haven't had a Southwark for quite a few years, but is was the best beer in SA back in the 60's and early 70's.

Can't agree with that. The best beer was Kent Town Ale (no longer brewed, unfortunately). The second best beer is Coopers Sparkling Ale. Southwark Green Death is not even close.
