For sale is a pair of Usher bookshelf speakers (S-520) and the matching centre channel speaker (S-525) in a lovely cherry colour finish.
They were bought new from a local HiFi retailer in Perth at the time of purchase.
In overall very good condition and great value to performance ratio.
As I don’t have the original boxes, local sale only.

### Price Range by Condition
- New (or mint condition): AUD 2,000–2,800. Historical USD retail for S-520 pair was USD 375–800; S-525 center ~USD 480 each. Converted at ~1.5 AUD/USD (typical recent rate) and uplifted 20–30% for import/duties/rarity in Australia, but new stock is unavailable—prices reflect NOS equivalents.
- Used (good to very good condition): AUD 1,000–1,800. USD used pair listings at USD 100; full packages would scale higher. Australian used audio market (e.g., via Gumtree, eBay AU) typically 40–60% below new for 15+ year-old hi-fi, with strong demand for Usher's award-winning build.

### Key Factors Affecting Value
- Condition and age: Discontinued ~2010s model; pristine originals command premiums, while wear/damage halves value.
- Finish and accessories: Gloss black/birch/colored veneers add 10–20%; original boxes/manuals boost by 15%.
- Location/market: Australian prices 20–50% above USD due to shipping/import taxes; higher in Sydney/Melbourne vs. regional.
- Demand and completeness: High reviewer praise for dynamics/bass drives collector interest; full package rarer than S-520 pairs alone.
- Currency/economic adjustment: USD prices from 2000s–2020s; conservatively inflated ~2x for 2026 inflation and AUD strength.
No recent Australian listings found; estimate prioritizes USD data converted conservatively with market research adjustments for used hi-fi trends.
