  1. Item: Audiocraft AC-3000 MC Silver Tonearm Location: Hawthorn Price: $1450 Item Condition: Unused Reason for selling: Not needed Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only Extra Info: Beautiful arm that has been patiently waiting for a turntable. This tonearm is keen to get back out there and show the lucky new owner what it is capable of.
  2. Thanks @Saxon Hall it’s a 220v unit so you can plug into straight into the wall.
  3. Further information: This unit just oozes quality and it delivers! In great condition and everything works as expected. No remote (lost this in the house but happy to send it over when I find it). Here is a review: https://www.stereophile.com/hirezplayers/906/index.html Photos: PLEASE READ If you include any reference to pricing whatsoever in this section (excluding RRP), your ad will not be approved If you are advertising multiple items, you must post one bulk price only, or post seperate ads for each item If you don't include photographs of the actual item being sold, your ad will not be approved You understand that upon successful sale of your item it is expected you pay Seller's Fees. - if you have previously sold items and not made a contribution, your advertisement may not be approved.
  4. Further information: Classic Australian transcription turntable + AT 1503 tonearm (not sure which exact model). I had big plans for this turntable but have had to face the hard reality that I just don't have the skills or time to bring this back to or beyond it's former glory. I removed the green felt matt that was glued to the platter and there is still some glue residue to be removed. The turntable mechanism and motor are in full working order and the idler wheel has been serviced by @cafe latte . I have not tested the tonearm. 5. 👍 the are ugly and beautiful all at the same time.
  6. @Campbell The bottom box is 90 H X 41 D X 57 W. The top box is 39 H X 34 D X 26 W.
  7. Same! As soon as we get a bigger home the cones will likely grow with it.
  8. Further information: I have thoroughly enjoyed these speakers but my time with them must come to an end as they take up too much space and have new (smaller) speakers on the way. I don't know much about them other that the brand is Audax, they are big & heavy, super sensitive (sound amazing with 10w set amp), work well up against the wall and sound great. The top section connects with 4 pins to the bottom section and is removable. The bottoms of the top sections show a slight gap. I love these speakers for late night jazz sessions and will thoroughly miss them. 10. Further information: Lovely Musical Fidelity CD player. Tested all functions and performs as expected. Comes with original remote control. Inside the A5 is a dual differential 24-bit Delta-Sigma bit-stream DAC with 192kHz 8 x oversampled architecture claimed to feature very low jitter on the order of 135 pps, plus a single mu-Vista 6112 tube in the output stage. Frequency response is quoted as 10Hz to 20kHz +0/-0.02 dB, signal-to-noise ratio as 113dB 'A' weighted and channel separation as greater than 105dB throughout the audible range. Audio output at digital 0dB is 2.15VRMS at 1kHz and analog output impedance is 47 ohms. The A5 also provides one optical Toslink and one S/PDIF RCA digital output. Local sale preferred. 11. Further information: Meridian 500 CD Transport + 606 DAC including remote and manual. Tested all functions and all is working as expected. This is a fine sounding duo. Both the dac and CD player are in great condition. Note the photos I took show a lot of reflections. Prefer to sell both locally and as a set. Photos:
  12. I would love to learn more about these lovely Audax speakers. I have been running them with 25w kt88 tube amp and 10w set and they seem super sensitive where even the 10w set will bring the house down. All I have found out is that the drivers are French and the cabinet I think was made in NZ. I listen to a lot of jazz and they sound thrilling. Sadly my dear lady’s tolerance of these ⚰️ coffins has come to an end so am looking to move them on but have no idea how to value them. Thanks for your help!
