Combination of Terminator Plus DAC with Hermes DDC. The addition of Hermes DDC does improve the detail and clarity of the sound, IMHO well worth it. Terminator Plus had the firmware upgrade under the guidance of Vinshine Audio (old retailer) in 2023- they sent the chip and gave clear instructions which was easily installed. 
 
Terminator Plus is the popular flagship DAC from Denafrips. I would say this combo has a detailed, very natural analogue with no "digital glare" and yet quite relaxed and not in your face type of sound character. 
 
A small superficial mark on top of the terminator plus, will only see on close inspection (see photo).
 
Upgraded to Linn Klimax with Organik DAC as itchy for the last 10% improvement of sound. Huge price difference but as you know we are willing to sacrifice everything for audio, haha.

Apology for the poor quality photos. I'm caught with either the low res camera on an old phone, which I used, or a newer phone camera that it so hi res that pictures from it exceed the SNA size limit.

Purchased new in 2021 from sole Aussie distributor Indie Hi-fi. I've updated the firmware, used it with HQPlayer to great effect, and I think there are only one or two very minor, small scuffs on the case (see pics). Full packaging and accessories (except the USB cable, sorry - but it's nothing special). I have never used the remote, so the copper buttons have been unsullied by my greasy paws. I've only ever used the USB input, but it works a treat (and from the dirtiest of sources). Balanced and SE outputs both used, and I'll be damned if I can tell a difference between them.

PLEASE NOTE: the unit has a light, intermittent transformer hum/buzz - it has been there from the get-go. Hard to describe the buzz; pop over for a demo and I will see if I can replicate the fault for you and you can decide for yourself. I have eliminated DC on the line as the cause, tried various power cables, and I've filtered the heck out of the power supply coming in to the DAC. The issue has persisted in two separate rentals I've lived in. It's possible you'll have better luck with your house wiring, but I reckon the fancy flat-wound KTE transformer shouldn't have quite passed QC.

A 3-5kg weight on top of the case over the transformer kills any buzzing (the case is quite robust; I am sure it can handle the weight for its service life). That is how I have always used it.

I have contacted Hugo from Indie HiFi several times over the years to get the hum fixed under warranty (I think Holo has three years of warranty). He has not been responsive to my calls and emails, and he's the only Aussie distributor, so I'm taking the loss and selling the DAC as is. I'm not in a position to pursue the matter further. If you're able to get ahold of Hugo - or if by chance you have a direct line to the manufacturer - perhaps you can arrange to send it back to Holo for a repair. Otherwise, get yourself a weight for the case and you'll be set for some good listenin.'

For sale is the brilliant and dare I say sexy Laiv Harmony DAC. This one is in Silver. It comes with the original inner branded Laiv box and outer generic box. Includes all original items.

It is a great implementation of an R2R ladder DAC and has performed well with ROON and also HQPlayer via USB and i2s

I am the original owner and have owned it since Aug 2024, it was brought directly from LAIV as there was no Australian distributor/seller at that stage.

The DAC comes with a solid metal remote that can be used to toggle the screen, and change inputs etc. This can ship safely double boxed and with the Laiv packing foam it will travel interstate without concern.

I bought this outstanding streamer from a member who had upgraded it with a PD Creative LPS module and a Meanwell DC transformer (lots of positive reviews of this upgrade on line). Current price of this upgrade is over $200 and is well worth it - it provides a noticeably lower noise floor, greater separation and a larger soundstage that together give greatly improved SQ..
Many have commented that the internal DAC is very good but I can't verify - I've always used it with 2 external DACs in 2 different systems. This is possible because all digital outputs are live all the time.
The BlueOS is excellent and very user friendly.

No longer required to due system downsize. The difference this makes (particularly to Chord DACs) cannot be understated. As you will see in the photos, this performs and presents as new in all original packaging.

Application
DirectStream MK2 is the heart of a highly resolving true reference quality digital audio-based system. It handles all PCM sources up to 705.6 kHz, and DSD up to 256. DSD to Analog
Converting the ones and zeros of digital audio into music we cannot distinguish between live or recorded is an art. Most of today’s sophisticated DACs are IC based instruments using off-the-shelf-chips that rely upon Multi-bit Sigma-Delta functions to process the incoming digital audio. While these are relatively simple to design and produce, they rarely give the best sonic results. DirectStream MK2 takes a different approach by first converting all galvanically isolated digital audio signals into a purer form of digital audio known as DSD. DSD is a far more analog-like encoding and decoding process than the classic CD based PCM. In fact, most modern A/D converters used to make recordings are DSD based already. The DirectStream MK2 takes both PCM and DSD, upsamples the data and converts to single-bit DSD and then outputs pure music regardless of input format for the data. The results of this design can be heard in increased musical information presented to the listener at every opportunity. When you listen to the DirectStream MK2 you never are accosted by added bright, hard glare in the music as happens with many active designs. Instead, clean, pure musical magic flows from the DirectStream MK2 directly to your preamplifier or power amplifier.

Output and Volume
Most modern DACs use some form of active tube or solid state output stage to amplify, filter and drive the DAC's output. The DirectStream MK2 takes a different approach: passive. In one of the simplest, elegant and musically correct executions of an output stage, high-speed class A video amplifiers are used as the final switch feeding a high-performance passive audio output transformer. The upgraded output transformer in the MK2 is specially designed to act as both the final galvanic isolation between the DAC and the outside world as well as the primary low pass filter required to present a perfect, low distortion, low noise output signal that is fed directly into the DirectStream MK2's zero-loss volume control. This DAC is the HDMI version and plenty of glowing online reviews. Never thought I would put it on sale this soon as the sound is killer with HQPlayer and Roon DSD512 but took the opportunity to go next level when it came. Bought from HeyNowHifi and still have 11 months warranty left (receipt can be emailed). Comes with original box and remote.

I'm selling my DAC as I don't use it anymore. This DAC competes with much more expensive devices. I've tried a few in the price bracket up to $1000, and they couldn't beat the sound of the FOSI DAC.

Very versatile; connect it to a smart TV, PC, laptop, mobile phone, console, etc.

This has been my favourite piece of equipment for a decade. First owner and well looked after.
 
It was Stereophile Class A in its day and has had great reviews from everyone that has reviewed it.  A true ES component that seems to be still in demand and in Japan it is going up in value if the Ebay prices are to be believed.
 
I have replaced the hard drive along the way and it has had an easy life.
 
For those that don't know the HAP-Z1ES is a storage and playback machine primarily. It can upgrade (right word?) everything to DSD. It can also stream Spotify or output to an external DAC through usb. The files are also discoverable by all my streamers as per a NAS drive.
 
It does have the obligatory white line on the screen which was very common in these units. Luckily mine is across the very top so has no real impact - plus I don't really use the screen. I use the App.
 
There is a tiny, tiny chip in the top right that you can only feel if you run a fingernail across it - have tried to photograph it.Plus another small mark on the top toward the back right that you can see from the top down shot. 
 
I have the remote but not the original box but I do have an appropriate box for shipping in at buyer expense.

Condition
The player and power supply are in excellent working order. Original boxes are not included, but items will be securely packed for shipping. The player was originally purchased as the sMS-200Ultra model, and was later upgraded to the Neo specification by SOtM in Seoul (a $30 upgrade). Documentary evidence of the upgrade can be provided on request.

Simplifying the study setup means this needs a new home. This is the OG version (not 2/64), purchased and shipped direct from Schiit (230v, AU cable) for US$700 at the time.

looking to sell my merging power + player. this unit gets you pretty close to a real sound. nothing harsh no sharp edges. it sounds authentic and real. the sound is calming and relaxed. lots of detail with a tonne of bass great mids and detail but still maintains good rythym and flow. ive had this unit since march 2023.
 
it has a built in roon core and you need roon for use which i suggest getting anyway

An Electrocompaniet ECD1 24 Bit Upsampler 192kHz DAC.

This unit has been well looked. It has performed particularly well connected to an Electrocompaniet ECI3 integrated amplifier for brand synergy and has delivered several years of enjoyment. I have recently taken advantage of the sales to upgrade.

It does have a small scratch on the right side of front panel.
As can be seen in the pic.
I just keep in the TV cabernet, so it can't be seen anyway.

Great sounding dac. A level up above spring 2 kte with better parts and filtering. Actually comparable with spring 3 kte with spring 3 kte slightly better details in some busier track. I have been using spring 3 kte and this for 2 months and Actually really hard to ab them except for some track. You can hear the comparison if you want to demo.
 
This was sold to me as wildism extreeme edition level 4 but I checked internally it is actually wildism wild edition level, confirmed with internal pictures
 
Plenty of detail, excellent timbre, full range reproduction, black backgrounds. R2R done really well. NOS and DSD modes are amazing. IS2 input sounds great and does the USB.
Feed with a good source and decent cables and you have the foundation of a brilliant system.
Wildism are an official Holo dealer. The Wildism upgrades are really over the top and dare I say, surpassed the KTE (Kitsune) upgrades by adding some really exotic stuff such as:

Cosmetics are really good there id tiny nics at the top case. But the case is solid and internally perfect and comes with it's original remote

Comes with all cables and remote. A steal, but no longer required as I rarely ever used my second system which this was part of.

Jan 1 price rise about to occur - great chance to get this DAC at a bargain

My Laiv Harmony DAC - excellent condition. Not much needs to be said about this DAC, it punches well above it's wait and is built like an absolute tank.
I've A-B this against the significantly more expensive Holo Audio Spring 3 KTE and actually preferred the Laiv.
I've had it since August 2024 (bought it from a member here and it was only 3 days old at the time!) warranty has been transferred to my name and can be transferred again after sale (3 year total warranty) Laiv were very easy to deal with when I transferred the first time.
All original packaging, remote and feet included, as well as the template to ensure the feet are positioned correctly.

Selling as I'm moving to a much more expensive DAC with a preamp built in - for quite a different direction for the system.

Pickup available for a limited time in Lindfield Sydney. Postage at buyer's cost. Otherwise I'm moving to Brisbane next week so pickup near Kedron in Brisbane after Jan 10 can be arranged.
