Triangle Capella 2 Wireless Speakers Premiere at Warsaw Audio Video Show 2025

Previewed at the Warsaw audio show, Triangle’s Capella 2 succeeds the Capella, blending high-resolution streaming with innovative features.
Capella 2 will replace the original Capella wireless active speakers. Thanks to a built-in amplifier, modern wireless tech and audiophile credentials, they offer high-resolution streaming in a convenient package.

The French-made system centres on the Stereo Hub 2 network player, which now includes a dedicated subwoofer output, an Ethernet port, and a more powerful ARM Cortex-A53 processor. These features join the eARC HDMI, coax, optical, USB-B, RCA, and 3.5mm jack ports.

The Capella’s Stereo Hub 2 preamp/streamer transmits high-resolution audio to the speakers using WISA tech. This technology provides a stable wireless connection with no perceptible latency.
With all sources connecting directly to the external hub, you’re free to position the speakers anywhere—no messy wires to hold back your creativity. This design makes setup a breeze and invites you to integrate Capella 2 effortlessly into any space, your way.

Triangle's Capella 2 features Bluetooth 5.2 and Wi-Fi connectivity for easy, high-resolution streaming up to 24-bit/192-kHz. Compatible with AirPlay and Chromecast, it lets you send music to the speakers instantly, without any complex setup.

The system also supports Spotify Connect Lossless and Tidal Connect, offering direct, intuitive access to your favourite streaming services with optimal sound quality. For more demanding users, Roon Ready certification guarantees audiophile-grade management of all your Qobuz, Tidal, and networked music libraries in one app. Meanwhile, UPnP/DLNA enables simple, stable playback of files stored on a NAS or computer.

Capella 2 delivers 100W per speaker, with each driver benefitting from its own amplifier and digital converter, ensuring precise, independent control of the signal. A digital signal processor (DSP) continuously optimises driver performance while protecting the components. We’re told that this achieves outstanding performance for the system’s size across its claimed 42Hz-22kHz (+/-3dB) bandwidth.

The internal structure uses Triangle’s proprietary DVAS (Driver Vibration Absorption System), which is said to significantly reduce cabinet vibrations. The curved cabinet shape, combined with the structured silicone trim, reduces sound wave diffraction.
It might come as no surprise that the Capella 2 uses a horn tweeter, a Triangle trademark for many years, that produces a homogeneous sound throughout the listening area. Equipped with a new 25mm magnesium/aluminium alloy dome, this high-output tweeter promises harmonious highs without the slightest hint of aggressiveness.

Meanwhile, the mid-woofer features a 165mm (6.5-inch) driver with a proprietary membrane made of natural cellulose pulp, another Triangle standard. Since its creation, the brand has favoured paper-cone drivers because of their colourless reproduction, especially in the vocal range. The driver is equipped with a ventilated aluminium chassis and a half-roller suspension comprising foam and treated rubber. The Soissons-based company always aims for natural vocal and instrumental reproduction, with good openness and generous, dynamic bass, which here is reinforced by a downward-firing port.

Finally, the new wireless system automatically calibrates to any room via iOS devices or with the Zen microphone. For greater personalisation, you can fine-tune settings using the equaliser.
Triangle will release Capella 2 in early 2026 in five new finishes: English Green, Oak, Space Black, Astral Blue, and Space White and will retail for €2,499. We expect more details, including confirmed global pricing, closer to that time.
