To celebrate, it has unveiled the X2t 25th Anniversary Edition, a strictly limited-run loudspeaker capped at just 100 pairs worldwide. Each unit is individually numbered and carries a commemorative badge, underscoring the brand’s milestone moment.

Founded in 2000, Raidho built its reputation on combining meticulous Danish craftsmanship with advanced driver engineering. The company’s long-running X-Series — the “eXtreme performance” line — has been among its most successful, with the X2 selling close to 500 pairs globally. The new X2t distils that heritage into what Raidho calls a true collector’s item.

At its heart lies Raidho’s signature planar-magnetic ribbon tweeter, designed and built entirely in-house. The ultra-light 11-micron foil diaphragm weighs just 20 milligrams — around 50 times less than a conventional dome tweeter — pushing breakup modes beyond 82 kHz. Raidho describes it as highly resolving yet effortlessly musical, qualities rarely found in such equal measure. Complementing it are dual 5.25-inch Ceramix woofers featuring aluminium cones coated with ceramic and tantalum layers. This multi-material “sandwich” structure extends stiffness. It suppresses distortion up to 15 kHz, producing what the company claims is exceptional midrange purity, expansive bass, and scale to match the tweeter’s speed.

The 2.5-way bass-reflex topology utilises two woofers for enhanced low-end authority, while a proprietary rear-firing port enables bass tuning to suit the listening room. Inside, a hand-wired crossover uses premium Mundorf components and Nordost Norse internal cabling — the obsessive detailing more often seen in far pricier designs.

To mark the occasion, the X2t Anniversary Edition is offered in three high-gloss piano lacquer finishes — Walnut Burl, Emerald Green Burl, and Midnight Blue Burl — each accompanied by a signed certificate of authenticity. Furutech terminals have been specified for improved signal integrity, and every pair ships in commemorative packaging befitting its limited-edition status.

The Raidho X2t 25th Anniversary Edition is now available via authorised dealers. European pricing is set at €21,000 per pair in Walnut Burl and €23,000 in Emerald Green or Midnight Blue, with additional regional pricing to be confirmed.
