The Final UX1000 promises the Japanese brand's renowned sound quality to everyday listeners at an incredibly accessible price. Meanwhile, the UX5000 combines premium engineering with wireless convenience, offering a three-dimensional soundstage and balanced tonality.

At a price point never attempted before by the brand, the new entry-level UX1000 promises to deliver a “clean, natural presentation” across all music genres. It also provides long-lasting comfort. The foldable over-ear headphones feature a durable matte finish that should resist surface wear and fingerprints.

Even at this entry-level price, the UX1000 delivers active noise cancellation with Final’s proprietary Hybrid ANC processing. Feedforward and feedback microphones reduce environmental noise. Ambient Mode brings in outside sound at the press of a button.
Final’s UX1000 features Bluetooth 5.4 with multipoint functionality, enabling it to connect to multiple devices at once. Users can switch between them seamlessly. The headphones also support the standard SBC and AAC codecs.

Rounding things off, the UX1000 also offers an impressive 70 hours of battery life with ANC off and 40 hours with ANC on.
Final UX5000 Headphones
Further up the range, Final's UX5000 costs a bit more and features a newly developed 40mm dynamic driver, a “precisely tuned internal sound cavity,” and refined acoustic damping and advanced filtering. We’re told the headphones deliver high-resolution sound with accuracy, openness, and a natural tonal balance with clear highs, rich bass, and remarkable depth.

Additionally, the UX5000 features Qualcomm’s QCC3095 platform, which supports LE Audio and aptX Lossless for 24-bit/48kHz streaming with Snapdragon Sound.

Active noise cancellation is also included with a claimed 65 hours of battery life (ANC off) or 45 hours (ANC on). Although not mentioned in the press release, and purely judging from the picture above and the 3.5mm port, it looks like you can also hardwire the UX5000 into a headphone amplifier and, presumably, use it passively.

Both headphones use a lightweight build, a padded headband, and earcups to provide hours of comfort.
The Final UX1000 is priced at £49.99 | US$64.99 | €63.99 and is available now in black and “greige” options, while the pricier UX5000 model is currently only offered in black and sells for £199.99 | US$249.99 | €229.99.
Both are earmarked for sale in Australia next year, with prices there and in other territories yet to be announced.
