Bristol Hi-Fi Show: Cyrus Audio 80 AMP Makes English Show Debut

Following its Scottish premiere, Cyrus Audio will bring its 80 AMP to the Bristol Hi-Fi Show 2026.

The new, three-model full-width 80 Series from Cyrus Audio was first outed at last year’s Munich Show, and the latest component from the range is set to be demonstrated at The Bristol Hi-Fi Show.

The 80 AMP is the new streaming integrated amplifier from Cyrus Audio. While we heard it at the Edinburgh Show (above), its streaming section wasn’t quite ready.

Designed to offer modern streaming convenience without sacrificing the authority and control of true hi-fi amplification, the 80 AMP promises to leverage the company’s decades of engineering experience to deliver “bigger presence, deeper headroom and effortless drive” resulting in revealing “more detail and emotion at any volume.”

The Cyrus 80 AMP relies on the mature BluOS streaming platform, which we’re told has been seamlessly integrated for instant access to your music. Furthermore, the full-width chassis has given engineers the space to create what matters most: power, performance and purity.

Cyrus has also moved to a new demonstration room at The Bristol Hi-Fi Show this year. Visitors will find the 80 AMP, along with the 40 series and TTP Turntable, in the Executive Lounge, which is conveniently located next to the bar.

applause awards

Each time StereoNET reviews a product, it is considered for an Applause Award. Winning one marks it out as a design of great quality and distinction – a special product in its class, on the grounds of either performance, value for money, or usually both.

Applause Awards are personally issued by StereoNET’s global Editor-in-Chief, David Price – who has over three decades of experience reviewing hi-fi products at the highest level – after consulting with our senior editorial team. They are not automatically given with all reviews, nor can manufacturers purchase them.

The StereoNET editorial team includes some of the world’s most experienced and respected hi-fi journalists with a vast wealth of knowledge. Some have edited popular English language hi-fi magazines, and others have been senior contributors to famous audio journals stretching back to the late 1970s. And we also employ professional IT and home theatre specialists who work at the cutting edge of today’s technology.

We believe that no other online hi-fi and home cinema resource offers such expert knowledge, so when StereoNET gives an Applause Award, it is a trustworthy hallmark of quality. Receiving such an award is the prerequisite to becoming eligible for our annual Product of the Year awards, awarded only to the finest designs in their respective categories. Buyers of hi-fi, home cinema, and headphones can be sure that a StereoNET Applause Award winner is worthy of your most serious attention.
