Kudos' on the Kondo-the system will be I'm sure take to the highest level--Congrats!

 

I recall the first time I heard the Ongaku(s)--it was  1990 I was working in Singapore on an Advert Assignment and had the opportunity to hear them--was I interested--sure thing!

 

After a hell drive through a raging storm we arrived at this ramshackle house and there in the barren lounge (!) was Two of the Amps (Bi set) and  set of huge horns--i cannot recall the makes nor the TT 

 

the music played was sublime -and i still recall the flow and sonics rendered--it was unbearably hot humid night and we sat there waving the  fans we were given.

 

During a lull the owners wife came in --i asked her in English how  does she put up with the intense heat

 

"We cannot afford Air conditioning sorry"

 

Well I suppose some luxuries have to suffer in the mix

Differnt type of sounds , I was far prefer the Ongaku until the Elrog 300b plug in. They bring the gap much closer =) I can live with both easily.
