I was at the game last night and live, Raiders were even more pathetic than on TV.     Manly were OK, however Raiders were soft and lazy.    Manly stopped playing after 30 minutes.

Ricky must be close to getting a contract upgrade :P

With the Roosters' player roster, I don't see how they could have been under the salary cap for the last decade!

.......and the Drover's Dog could have them to the premiership when Ricky Stuart did.

In fact, they probably should have one six premierships in the last 10 years.

Another win for the Dragoons and the Knights showed enough to suggest they'll win a few games this season.

At the 26 minute mark the Titans lead the Broncos 10-6

Pretty hard. I got 3 from 7 and 4 from 8 if the Tigers beat the Eels tomorrow.

Saints play Rabbits next week and I think Sam Burgess will be out due to a one week suspension.

It will get easier.     Injuries will dictate results when clubs get a few or best players out over the next few weeks.

Injuries this week.

Cowgirls - MacLean out for season

Knights - Moga out for season

Manly - Tanginoa and Sironen both out for season.

Dragons - Zero injuries

Hate seeing players injured so early in the season...

Then not able to play again for the year...

You'll find I've done the same!

Because I came last, last year.........I have a system!

I've had all home teams except for last week when I went all away teams.

Last week was a 4/4 split so I might as well have had home teams then anyway.

Having Jarryd Hayne in your team is always a recipe for success, right?

Got it in one....same applies to Josh Dugan.

Neither of them ever seem to be able to play for more than 2 or 3 consecutive matches without wimping out. The Titans and the Drags respectively, were both very fortunate that these dills decided to change clubs.

Indeed. I always laugh when Dugan says he shifted to the Sharks because he wanted to be a fullback on fullback money.

The thing is that Val Holmes is way better than Dugan at fulback..............or any other position for that matter.

Both Josh and Jarrod are spoiled brats whose egos are grossly in excess of  their skills.

Nope. The warriors beat Easts at Allianz and the Titans beat the Broncos at Suncorp

The first match of round 5 tonight. Raiders v Bulldogs. Raiders' fullback Wighton has been excused because his wife has just given birth. No Blake Austin again. My money's on Canterbury.

Congatulations to Jason Nightingale who'll run out for his 250th game tomorrow night with the one club. Let's hope the Dragons can bring off another win for him. He's been a credit to the game.

Could not agree more about Jason Nightingale. He is a superb club man and an all round good guy and although he has lost a little bit of speed he is still one of the most under rated players in the NRL.

I sincerely hope the St George extends his contract if he wants to play on for a season or 3, but if not, they could make good use of him in a support coaching role. he has too much valuable experience to be lost to the club.

As usual, I am hoping and praying that the Raiders lose and lose badly ( but even by a point is OK too ) but they will probably win just to p i s s me off and spoil my weekend. 0 and 5 sounds great to me.
