Logitech harmony backend down

Featured Replies

If any of you are running Logitech elite and / or hubs and are attempting to add new devices, you will be pulling your hair out.

the Hub1001 error, it’s not you it’s Logitech. Their servers are broken but they have posted no advisory notices to end users. I read between the lines on a German speaking forum today to work it out.

a similar thread is now on reddit too:https://www.reddit.com/r/logitechharmony/s/Aeh7L7x6zy

I am now one step closer to buying something more serious with actual support behind it. Control4 seems overkill for what I'm using it for, but having a throat to choke and not have me waste half an evening on it would be worthwhile.

tl;dr version? Don't try and update your harmony gear right now or you'll be sorry

You might get away with a Sofabaton until something else comes along as a true Logitech replacement (and without being locked into dealer programming/management).

We've replaced 3 x Logitech systems with Sofabaton X1S systems. It's not perfect, but get the programming right and your wife/kids will complain less that's it not working than they ever did with Logitech. The only issue I seem to ever have is when direct sunlight interupts the IR signal and things get out of sync.

Things seem to be syncing again now.
