Trader Feedback has always been a very important part of our Classifieds. It gives confidence to a buyer, and establishes a reputation that both Buyers and Sellers aim to uphold and protect throughout their journey on this site. I know I have been reluctant to buy from Sellers with no trading history, whereas I have purchased with confidence from those with 100% positive feedback and many transactions under their belt.

 

Despite it's importance in our community, many users still do not make use of the Feedback system.

 

Coming in the next few days will be a change to the process of leaving Feedback that has been designed around further improvements to this process. 

 

When a Seller marks an item as Sold, they will need be able to nominate the username of the Buyer. This is an important step as it records in the system who the transaction took place between. The next stage will be the payment of Seller's Fees, and following that they will be presented with a screen to Leave Feedback for the Buyer:

 

 

It can be dismissed, but there is also an option to be reminded in 7 days about leaving feedback.

 

At the same time, the Buyer will then also be presented with the below screen:

 

 

We suspect in most cases, the Buyer will not have received the item they have purchased, and that is where the "Remind me in 7 Days" button will be useful. 

 

Of course, you will still be able to use the Trader Feedback system from the ad itself, or via the Trader Feedback page as you can now and traditionally.

 

We believe these simple additions and change of process should encourage higher use rates for the Feedback system, leading to an even greater Classifieds experience for both buyers and sellers.

It's pretty disappointing that this was discovered by some users and taken advantage of, rather than reporting it to us to be fixed.

Either way, as @Adriano Faria has pointed out above, this will be resolved promptly. Thanks for pointing it out @Jakeyb77_Redux - appreciated.

I was assuming they made an error.I wasn’t implying that it was done maliciously. 
I hope that’s the case any way 

This will be implemented in Classifieds V1.0.4
