Long time music reproduction fan. Electrical engineer by background with cocentration in digital domain audio/video.

Full time job, oddly enough, is leading IT transformations for banks..

 

Many systems over the years. Some just to have sound, maybe support a theater for the family and occasionally ones that were passion projects. We know them when we hear them.

 

Of those, I have built my own DAC back when Burr-Brown chips were the hot thing, built amps, pre-amps in addition to buying

 

For speakers, of note the ones that really got me, emotionally (when listenning, not buying) were the Von Schweikert VR4-Gen 2, and my recently new, current set which are the Klipsch Corwall IV

 

Amp is a Lexicon L-7, left over from a past home theater.

 

Primary source is the Eversolo DMP-A8, also a recent aquisition.

 

I will post more about  the DMP in the right spot, as its very good, and some bad. But maybe this group can illuminate what I am struggling with

 

Next up (when finances allow) for this setup will be a tubed amp for the Cornwalls
