The digital filter of the Ayre CX-7eMP features two user-selectable algorithms. A selector switch is located on the rear panel. One algorithm produces greater accuracy in the time domain and is labeled “Listen”. The other algorithm produces greater accuracy in the frequency domain and is labeled “Measure”. The supplied remote control handset can operate both the CX-7eMP CD player as well as an Ayre preamplifier or integrated amplifier.
