Further information: This pair of of speakers was passed onto me a couple of years ago and I've held onto them for reasons such as 'just in case',  or 'I might need them someday'.   It's time for them to go to someone who will use them.   They sound fine, they are easy to drive and would be fine option for a simple 2nd system in a bedroom, garage, whatever.

In the interest of full disclosure, I haven't ever removed the grills to check the quality of the surrounds as the grills have a very tight fit to the frame, and I didn't want to damage anything.  .... Additional photos of the driver and tweeter on each speaker.  Apart from sounding great, the look fine.

Speaking of damage, you will notice one photo where the laminate has lifted which is minor cosmetic annoyance and can be easily fixed with a little PVA or the like.

Any questions please pm

For pick up in Melbourne - I don't have appropriate cartons for shipping.

Nice musical old school speaker, that don't need a lot of watts, 50 nice watts will do http://tinyurl.com/2a2znm4y  .

Your going to find it a hard sell, if you don't. The roll surrounds were butyl rubber so they should be fine.

I used to play around with these at Riverina HiFi Brookvale, and yes they are a tight fit. Use 2 x wide stiff blade butter knifes 50-100mm in from each corner pushed in 20mm at the bottom (just in case) and lever them out, this should suffice.

At @georgehifi's nudging I used the butter knife trick to get the grills off.  This is probably be the first time they have been taken off - the drivers and tweeters look to be in very good condition - additional photos added

Guess I was wrong about that, easy fix, still worth $250, but all very original.

New roll surround/dust cap probably $40-$50 and if you know what your doing one and a half hour fix up.
