CrankinChunes Posted January 19 Share Posted January 19 Hello, Matt from SE Melb here.. I have a collection of Drivers, Amps, and components. I like to dissasemble things. Currently learning how to fix a 'Neilson 6000' tank of an Aussie built Amp, which led me to learning that things like variable AC Triacs exist, are expensive and now i want/need one to fix the heavy bast***. I'm also going to try and build a SMPS to power my 2x IRS2092s 500w mono channel amps, for the lols. I recently brought a nasty 1000w 2-channel amp from the city of disk jockeys to see what the go is... light as feather lol, I'm sure it will get good use though. And also in the works is a Speaker Box Build to house my 4x Lorantz 12' subs.. which a front loaded / folded back design will be used because it looked cool and is my first. There's a lot to learn concerning those few conecpts/projects... It's all a bit exciting.. ha ..generally I 'bull-at-a-gate' things till it works so we'll see how we go!
