I’m in my 40’s and have been into audio generally all my life as my father always had a passion for good sound which he seems to have passed down to me. In my personal experience different components can make a big difference in sound but the speakers themselves and their interaction with the room make a much bigger difference. Subsequently I have tried pretty much every type of speaker going, electrostats, horns, dynamic transducers, open baffles, transmission lines etc etc. over the years and love to chat about their different sounds and impacts on a room.
