I purchased these from Scan Audio  back in the nineties when I was manufacturing speakers.

They are made from 20mm double veneer with lock mitre joints  and approximately 13 Liters in internal volume.

They have had a single coat of black undercoat.

Front panel cutouts:

Tweeter   74mm hole 94mm rebate

Woofer  145mm hole 172mm rebate

Weight 5.5Kgs each

Dimensions  336mm high,  218mm wide  &  285mm deep.

The cutouts were to suit older series Vifa  drivers however there is a current series SB Acoustics that fits perfectly.

Also the Satorie  series SB Acoustic 6" woofers fit as well

A Vifa D19 will fit the tweeter cut out & is available from Digikey Australia

They come with finished grills & sockets for the cabinet side.

The timber veneer is Jarra but they have been undercoated in black.

Also includes a nice flush mounted port & internal foam damping.

A set of gold banana post speaker terminals will be included that's fits into the rebate for a flush look.

 

I would prefer pickup only but I have the original shipping cartons so if you want to arrange a courier & take all responsibility that is fine.

These are a lovely quality made cabinet & at $75 a pair excellent value.

I have the original Electronics Australia article which describes a finished speaker using the Jaycar kit (same size cabinet) with a Vifa D19 tweeter and a Jaycar woofer - PM me and I can send it to you.

Yes definitely easier build than the Jaycar version as it includes finished grills & cabinet assembly is complete.

Also two more higher end tweeter options that will drop in
