GeoffinOz Posted September 19, 2023 Posted September 19, 2023 PS Audio P600 Power plant. 600 watt output power regenerator with Multiwave-selectable waveform outputs. Genuine 240v model with 8 x US outlets. Well cared-for and in great working condition. Output voltage can be selected between 220 to 240 volts either at 50 Hz or 60Hz with various Multiwave options. To quote PS Audio: The Power Plant is not a filter or line conditioner. Rather, it is a regenerative AC synthesizer. The Power Plant receives AC energy from your home's wall socket, converts it to DC (Direct Current, which is the same as a battery voltage), then converts it back to AC without any noise or problems. The essential elements inside the Power Plant are: ·An input AC transformer. ·High-voltage MOV protection devices. ·AC to DC conversion, via high-speed diode bridge and multi-thousand mfd capacitors. ·DSP-based, multi-frequency, programmable sine wave oscillator. ·A stereo power amplifier, ranging from 300 watts to 2000 watts, depending on the model of Power Plant. ·Microprocessor-controlled front panel display and functions. No box. Due to size and weight of the unit (approx 40 kg) I am offering this for sale for collection only. I can demonstrate that the unit works, but do not have a complete system setup for audition unfortunately. 3
Colonel Sanders Posted September 19, 2023 Posted September 19, 2023 Nice! That will beat hands down and power conditioner in this price range. A no brainer if you live nearby and have the room to place it. 2
Silver Audiophile Posted September 19, 2023 Posted September 19, 2023 I have a PS Audio P10 power regenerator. It is similar to this. I plug absolutely everything through it. Without it, the hi-fi system system isn't as sweet sounding. Soundstage, background black, bass impact, detail, and background grit is improved.
