francis wu Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 Now on with Serene Williams versus Garbine Muguruza! I will pick the latter in view of her consistently and tenacity! Fast on the court and runs down every ball versus the now lethargic and lazy Willams! Lucky to go thru' the Qtrs and Semis with so many unforced errors, very sluggish in her movements, guess she getting old now! ;D
ahduck Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 The old queen has been dethroned.. Sent from my Game Boy Advance 32gb 4GLTE/WiFi using Tapatalk
francis wu Posted June 5, 2016 Author Posted June 5, 2016 She may be out but she will be better in Wimbledon! Now is Novak Djokovic versus Andy Murray! I have to go with Serb because of his punishing ground strokes and consistency in his overall play! Andy seems to lose his cool easily against him! Guess at least a four setters to decide the eventual winner! Happy viewing! :)
jerms Posted June 5, 2016 Posted June 5, 2016 otw to becoming GOAT. in the end it's never gonna be rafa nor fed.
francis wu Posted June 5, 2016 Author Posted June 5, 2016 You need 18 Grand Slams to become the GOAT ;D. Still some way to go! :)
francis wu Posted June 5, 2016 Author Posted June 5, 2016 Congrats to Djokovic for another Grand Slam, a small step forward to becoming the GOAT! ;D

sje4182 Posted June 6, 2016 Posted June 6, 2016 Basically novak is thriving in a time when the men's field is weak. He is lucky that he is a late bloomer which coincided with Fed and Nadal's decline. Currently he hardly has any real challengers. All the supposedly next gen like kei and whatever all failed to develop. That he was playing Thiem in the semis is already telling. If Fed and Nadal did not exist in the same period of time, both of them would have many more titles. I have no doubt that novak is extremely good - but watching him compared to watching Fed, i definitely have much less "omg-how-did-he-do-that" moments. Tennis is definitely on the downhill - i have never watched so little tennis as this year. And I subscribe to SH sports group JUST for tennis (Mio doesn't show much tennis).
francis wu Posted June 6, 2016 Author Posted June 6, 2016 Actually MIO shows all the 4 Grand Slam events live and that's find with me!! :) As for the Serb, he is already 29 years old but if he can keep his fitness and agility for the next 5 years, he may surpassed Fed Express of 17 GS and be the GOAT! Wish him luck! :)

jerms Posted June 6, 2016 Posted June 6, 2016 djoko plays the game like he LOVES it. great character and never fails to show it.
