Total value of Iceland team is roughly 45 million. While many English players are valued more than this. Not talking about Rooney here :)

yes, England players are well known to be overvalued, overpaid n underperform (on major tournaments).

""Nothing in England’s 144-year history compares to this ignominy. Nothing. Not even losing to the United States in Belo Horizonte in 1950. Not even the Wembley draw with Poland in 1973. Not even the defeats by Norway in 1981 and 1993. Not even that wretched night at Windsor Park in 2005. England’s 959th game was the nadir. This was a disgrace. This was the worst because of the huge investment in resources the FA had put into preparing England for these Euros at a time when they were laying off staff."

country with less population than Toa Payoh.

u guys know any idiots supporting ingerland?

too many spuds players, the tallest playa taking corners.

FA should punish hart, walker, rose, cahill, smalling, wazza, dier, alli, sturridge, kane, sterling and ban them first 3 EPL games of next season.

shambolic individuals. like their country.

I hate to say this but the biggest culprit of all is Roy Hodgson!  He failed in maximising his players' positions and strengths and fielded mediocre players even though they were flops in earlier matches!!

Good riddance to bad rubbish!

Some tongue-in-cheek comments  :)  found online of England team's humiliation (with some ref to Brexit):

"Tonight, the value of Sterling crashed to a record low."

"Might ask Roy Hodgson oversee the Brexit negotiations. He seems to be experienced at taking us out of Europe"

"Things England can't defend.

1) the pound

2) long throws"

"England allowing freedom of movement to foreigners, especially in our penalty box"

"Conservatives: elect Roy Hodgson as your leader- he'd have us out of Europe faster than anyone."

"When we voted brexit we didn't mean this too..."

"Didn't realize the England players wanted out of Europe too"

"It seems the England team thought the #Brexit vote was a team talk"

"The people have spoken and England’s footballers are listening"

"Is Iceland's keeper called Brexit? Because be brought Sterling down to the floor."

They most probably will go thru.

Already said - they are in a ridiculously easy bracket. High chance they will get all the way to the finals.

.......in a ridiculously easy bracket.............

UEFA shldhv a better system of spreading out the top teams. Their drawing lots methodology which is supp to introduce randomness end up being highly bias instead. If the arrogant peacock n Portugal end up being kings of Europe will be the greatest injustice.
