The brand Fountain have a thick mint sauce , Wow peas an veggies soaked in roast gravy and mint sauce

The Bug tails were followed by Red Rub chicken, slowly roasted in the oven. Yuummmm..

This is red rub...its a little know Mexican dry mix that you rub all over meat before cooking.

my unhealthy hi-fi habit creeps in on the food budget; so i usually whip up some 2 munite noodles and if its a good week ill throw some peas or fineley chopped carrot into the mix too.....

My son came back yesterday with crayfish and abalone after a morning dive - right up there with the stripey trumpeter and scallops he'd got earlier - whole atlantic salmon are cheap at the moment and so are local oysters - I don't think the temperate regions fare too badly either :biggrin:

Tonight it is the opening of the Xmas ham.

We start the Xmas festivities tonight with a cold dinner of Turkey. Pork, Chicken, ham and salads, no doubt followed by a few drinks and some music before sending all the kids to bed early, ready for the fat guy with the beard to come. (no I don't mean Grumpy)

tonight will be hungry jacks with beer.

tomorrow polish food which my parents will do and a good old australian bbq with beer of course.

Left overs tonight ,big feed tomorrow .

Well the steak is not cut into individual portions and is done a bit like a roast. Fried on the griddle pan to seal the sides, then into the oven until medium-rare. While in the oven, it sits on and is covered by a bed of rosemary, thyme, and bay leaves.
