Today's lunch was the $4 Balinese Gyudon Egg Bowl at Amoy.  Prepared on the spot so it was hot and the sliced beef strips were fried with onions and Balinese sweet sauce which was very tasty.  The sambal chili paste has a very mild sambal taste and a little spicy which complements the dish.  Good deal after the rebate.112b7aa5e57c3c17a9ccad64940c6f97.jpg5e493a3fa16a8d3e72e8ef14f8cf35cd.jpg

Just had the free Chendol  at Maxwell and da pau free 3 pieces pancake.  At Amoy  da pau the Masala Pork biryani at $3.00.....

The chendol is quite good and comparable to the one at Smith St.  The pancakes were soft and the peanut and red bean fillings are decent.538b2f9f1f181895b26f77baa842cedc.jpgc07989f7d3102eae405c8a5621e1fbde.jpgd8386c3ca243d5598ce182cfe9b797cd.jpg938dc3851e7c4f910a1e82eea6b34d43.jpg

The Bulgogi bibimbap at Dosirak- OUE Downtown East is pretty tasty with their homemade kimchi paste.  At $9.90 and 1 for 1 under HSBC, good value for a very healthy meal.  The bulgogi beef slices serving was decent plus a choice of 5 veg toppings and rice was just nice for my tummy.  Popped by Maxwell to have the free Chendol n Bean Curd with red beans for desserts and then Amoy to da pau the Masala Pull Pork biryani ($3).bbb8e4997a03fbf1b865936bc5c84e9b.jpgf6a1fb40039c032e7a84fc65312b4c7f.jpge78564d0f4bf8a5ee4396b50d5ddba26.jpg

Had Gyudon with onions $4 at Amoy and Pulot Hitam free desert at Maxwell.

The former offers shredded marinated miso beef in decent portion simmered with onion slices tasted oishi and satisfying.

A good deal.b7b47b472d8643b297b3fd8a519bff09.jpgd034c5b9f67e72fe5bc298aba241381c.jpg

Tried their signature Charsiew, Jitama egg, meatballs and minced pork noodles at Maxwell for $4 which was a decent deal but at normal price of $6, it's expensive considering the  ingredients were not substantial enough.  The charsiew slice was thin, typical of what you get from Japanese charsiew noodles and the rest were nothing special but overall, it was deliciously appetizing and tasty.

Da pau the Gyudon bowl which I had yesterday at Amoy. 38d2d3ad44b2b1cfc2d96847b9730c1e.jpg40ecd4c92f76152c834537a4e1616f8f.jpg1d17e074b43f303f20f1796307d04ad4.jpgf6c9d2dbd12f635cc74be8185bfba3bf.jpg

Lazy to go out so ordered from Gado & Grill under Grabfood promo of $18 rebate...

Grilled Saba fish $9.60 and Gado & Kebap set $9.10 and plus $3 delivery ttl $21.70.  Paid $3.70 after the rebate.

The gado gado sauce was rich and very tasty.  The grilled fish was overdone and the meat too firm.  Definitely not worth their asking prices and if no rebate will  never order these at the eatery.

But can't complain since only $3.70 dinner for 2.[emoji4]12e37689a8faac80ae1fa943df8ea3fc.jpg7a355f866e3fe4ab5ce98318b03451f8.jpg

Promo over lah, I choped this a month ago when they put it on notification! :)  Like I said, sometimes they come up with decent value promo sets and you have to keep a look out for it.  1 for 1 is now available free (no subscription) for HSBC card holders under their food ambassador Entertainer where you find lots of choices. My fav joints under this promo is Wafuken and Dosirak at OUE downtown and SeVenth where the food is good and value for money.  After that you can have free deserts at Maxwell Food center under Xindots ;D
