Winner was lucky, but it was Young that made the luck with that great move...as for De Gea, he just needs time to settle. He's only 20 and the raw materials of an excellent keeper are there.

dodgy keeper, let's hope it's not taibi nerves

Very vulnerable to high balls and low shots!..... :P. Hope he learns the rope fast otherwise he will be known as the man who give away the crown!!!! :o

Wonder if he will carry on the tradition of letting in a few own goals each season.... Hmmm.....

it's OK...sunderland has nothing to fight for anyway!

The oddity of opening weekend is that not a single home team won.  To salvage something out of an unsatisfactory weekend, I'm hoping that applies tonight to Citeh as well.

Wow, all I can say is that Aguero is superb. Easily the best performance for the last weekend.

yup.

Manchester City for the title! :D

What!  You switched side already...... ;D

Man City are the Arsenal B Team mah! ;D

(or rather Arsenal are the Man City Junior Team ... :-[)

lol! So true.... sad but so true.

And I suspect Mancini monitors Wenger's transfer targets too.

BREAKING NEWS FROM REUTERS: MAN UTD TO LAUNCH $1B IPO ON SGX BY YEAR END...

:o :o :o :o :o :o

Hmmmh, okay one lot for me..... ;D

Spurs totally outclassed by Man U's youngsters. Well done, Welbeck.  ;D

glad united youngsters are doing really well but De Gea performance is not that convincing. Hope he improve over the time.

Welbeck really turned it on in the second half, after looking a step behind all the other United players for the first 45 minutes.

Phil Jones is incredible...built like a rugby player, stopped everything that Spurs tried. Plus he's confident and powerful going forward - can see why Blackburn also used him as a defensive midfielder at times. He'll be an England regular before long.

As for De Gea, great feet and distribution...but his handling looked quite suspect. Needs to spend more time on the training ground, fielding low balls hit with power.

Wow, can Rooney get any uglier?

With his million $ paycheck, can't he get a better hairstylist?

Even Shrek looks better than him now.

But good game by ManU. Spurs players looked like they've been having too much summer holidays. In the 2nd half,  most of the team looked like they had run out of steam, esp the left sided players.

Will catch the rerun tonight!..... :)

why is it only ManU is entitle to 1 free pass game every season...? ;)

It's a good thing that it happened early so that Ol' Rednose can prove to the Spurs board that we need to spend.

Haha, give him a break! Rooney just spent a bomb on hair transplant esp to the front of his crown. Give him time for the hair to grow and then we can criticise the style! Lol

Really impressed with this young crop especially phil jones. Personally prefer him to partner vidic. Rio is slow and cumbersome

Don't ever remember Manu starting up well in for new seasons, usually is slow start. This season is different.
