redryder Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 Hi guys, need some advice. I shipped out some items from Amazon to my Borderlinx address. This is the first time I'm using Borderlinx. Initially there was an error entering the address in Amazon, but upon retry it accepted the borderlinx address. Today I got this email from Amazon : USPS was unable to leave the package at your delivery address because of postal delivery policies. If your package was shipped to a PO Box address, it was likely too large to leave in your particular post office box. The package is available for pick up at your local post office. For more information about picking up this package, please visit http://www.usps.com and click "Locate a Post Office" to find contact information for your local post office or call 1-800-ASK-USPS. What am I going to do? Will the post office return the package to Amazon if nobody collects it? Will I be able to get a refund?
jayou Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 It happened to me once before. I just waited a week or so and was surprised the package reached borderlinx. Probably it was returned and resend again. I guess you can also contact Amazon and see what their reply is meanwhile.
hifi_enthusiast Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 Very common for vpost, this happens when the delivery arrives outside of the centre's opening hours. (eg: USPS still delivers on Saturdays....). Vpost will make all the arrangements. Presume bordelinx is the same.
