Technics -1200GR Decal fail ?

Have just noticed this week that my 1200gr deck that I bought brand new a few years ago has the 1200GR decal sticker or what you may call it fading away … I know it’s not an audio problem but the level of detail of the gr manufacturing is doubtful, having owned a few 1210s MK5g they have always remained . 
Not being a dj in my middle age anymore, my hands are not sitting on the deck doing pitch matching ect ….  Has anyone else have faded stickers. ?

I have the 1210 gr  A couple years old. No fading etc... No other issues.

Maybe a part of your hand slightly rubs there when using the finger lift on the headshell?

this is where you rest the palm of your hand to put the stylus on the record. I’ve seen abused and well used mk2 1200s with decals still clear as it was new .
