Monster speaker cables for the surrounds, again can't remember which range. The Revered SVS PC-Ultra stands taller than the B&W DM 603 S3 on spikes! (And yes, that is a Black Hawk helicopter - 1/18 scale) B&W DM 600 S3 surround suspended from the wall, wires concealed in wall. (Plus my lightsaber collection! ;D) Roof garden: 1. Mirage Oasis Omni 6 Outdoor Speakers x 2 2. Some Akira DVD player with integrated amplifier 3. Samsung 29" CRT TV 4. Some leftover subwoofer from old integrated system. I simply love these speakers! My neighbour has recently got a pair too!! ;D The Mirage Oasis Omni 6 speakers are mounted on the pillars, one above the water feature, the other beside the rainshower for maximum dispersion. Clearer picture of the speakers. The chill out area under the brolly. I must say that music sounds really great, even with the cheapo Akira setup and outdoor environment! This is the custom built cupboard to house the TV, Akira DVD player with integrated amp, subwoofer and the Starhub cable TV box. (Fridge with beer in the cupboard on the right :P) Different shot of the Mirage speakers. AVchaos
Hi,i new in this forum. share some photo of my setup.AS i juz got my new 1909 on Dec 08..Using my old Heco Vogue 5.1 speaker on it..As Heco feel more sharp and light..so During my hong kong trip last week had got myself a pair Mordaunt-Short Carnival 1. But once hook feel that they are more bass and low..so i hook both of them as front A & B. Now the sound feel perfect. As living in small room flat, I cant renov like those beauty flat out there. So my surround and back surround had to place abit weird. As can see for my Right surround i mount on my wooden wall on top. And for my left surround i cable tie on my curtain hanger. ;D (with the ikea soft snakee) both of the distance are hard to measure. I had try many time b4 i can get a good listen spot now. As for my back surround i juz put 2 Pioneer 40watt small speaker behind my sofa.. As both are too close to me..so sometime i rather to sit on the floor >:( to get the sourround effect. As for my sub..Can see that i m using normal LG home theater paassive sub. As the power and due to the firing on front and down are super.. Those were the blu and dvd that i gotten myself in hong kong . for testing my setup. I learn alots in this forum. Hope to become some pro like u guy too... Thanks for looking my humble little room.
