Nice looking spkrs - but they should be out from the front wall by an additional metre or two.  :(

Andy

How can you say that and not mention the glass?

I think 'Vogue Living' - rather than 'Stereophile', Mark!!??

Spkrs are far too close to the front wall and all that glass behind them!!  :o

You need to talk to John about that as, as far as I know ,he sets them up. Rod would back him too, I'm sure.

And I'm amazed you said nothing about the table.

Sorry - don't know 'John' or 'Rod'.  :(

"The table" - I thought it was a pool of water!

"The table" - you mean the low stone slab in front of the sofa in the 'sweet spot'?  Yes, I used to have a situation like that; when I was settling down to some serious listening, I would cover the stone surface with cushions.  :)

John Burnett and Rod Eliot. John's the designer and Rod's involved too as far as I know. Been involved together for a long time.

I couldn’t image this even working rather than sounding any good. These speakers suck the life out of any amp. A push-pull 40W tube amp would buckle here.

I wonder if the front stack is for show. I can see some McIntosh stuff lurking in the fireplace.
