Marantz Posted March 28, 2005 Posted March 28, 2005 Hi, Has anyone attempted to make their own HDMI to HDMI cable. From what I an tell this cable looks nothing special so am wondering how easy/hard it would be to construct your own. Look forward to hearing from anyone on this.
mondie Posted March 28, 2005 Posted March 28, 2005 l would be interested in this too if it can be done. l would need a DVI to HDMI although being as lazy as l am it may be easier to just buy one
Charles.B Posted April 15, 2005 Posted April 15, 2005 Why bother. www.totalsignal.com It's so cheap that you can spend your time listening to music instead of fudging around with a soldering iron
Marantz Posted May 19, 2005 Author Posted May 19, 2005 Wicked! I'm so happy. Picked up a 12m HDMI cable for next to nothing. Bloody Harvey Norman was selling this at the rip off price of $599. Bloody outrageous!!!
Wolfman1553552686 Posted June 17, 2005 Posted June 17, 2005  Wow they are cheap. What would 'those in the now' line them up againsty quality wise with 'known ' brands?
Marantz Posted June 17, 2005 Author Posted June 17, 2005 I can't comment on how it compares with the likes of the Chord or Audioquest version. Retail price is pretty similar to the Supra cable and all I can say is that I'm very happy with HDMI. Well recommended if you have all the right gear.
