Item: RCA Cleartop 12AU7 matched pairs - 2 pairs available.

Location: Brisbane

Price: $50 - per pair with free postage inside AUS.

Item Condition:  One set NOS - unused, the other set has about 5 hours on them. Some of the orange "RCA" print had been rubbed off on one and one of them only has the white "12AU7" print. Tubes and pins are clean. No boxed on these ones but I will pack well.

Reason for selling: Surplus to needs and need funds.

These are RCA 12AU7A clear top tubes. Square side getter.

These are very detailed tubes and yes, they are a bit trebly (is that a word?). Bass is still good though but do not get them if you system / room is already bright. Midrange is not super lush but is pleasingly well handled.

Don't get me wrong, they are not harsh but there is a tilt in the upper regions that doesn't really work in my system (metal dome tweeters). If you have a dark sounding setup then these are a good choice. 

 

Near new tube ratings. Test Ratings for both pairs are better than 100 - 105  on a Jackson 648s tester.
