I've been watching Parts Unknown through the week, fantastic but I just view it differently at the moment.  Bittersweet is the perfect term @Ahh- Schnoo Schnoo

I think it's pretty cool that someone started this thread in acknowledgement of Anthony and his contribution to helping us get a little wiser and a little more worldly from the comfort of our homes. Watching his shows was fun.

Thanks for good times, Anthony Bourdain. You're already missed.

I feel its terrible that someone of his age feels there are no options left, you'd like to think they've figured out life by then....a bit like Robin Williams.....

 

I didn't know of his depression/drug issues, but whilst I always liked the content of his shows I felt he was distant/not really all that engaged with it....saddens me in hindsight.

 

There are a few conspiracy theories floating around about him....who knows what to believe in this day and age.....

Some of the stuff he had to do was pretty eye opening and he doesnt seem too distant in the photo I put up on the previous page.
