Subwoofer flat pack

Hey guys does anyone know where I can get a subwoofer flat pack in Australia?

I know in America they have many options in flat packs and you can grab one for around 100 US dollars. I just doubt they would send one to Australia, for a reasonable price anyway

i saw that . 2x dayton 18" drivers and flat pack was about $550 in shipping alone.

bit too high.

Edit. i wonder if you could get a subwoofer like this to go below 20hz :

CNC machine.  wow very advanced. looks like they would be fun to play around with.

yeah, looks like the best option will be to cut myself either 16mm ply or mdf using jig and circular saw.

any of you guys ordered the Stereo Integrity 18HT subwoofer driver from the US? looks like amazing value, apart from the fact that it costs more the ship it to Australia then the driver itself.

If the shipping wasn't much more for two, then id get two of them.

can't find any cheap places as of yet.

$730 using transdirect website via TNT. It says I need a truck with a hydraulic tailgate because over 30kg,  which would take it to $800. $400 for one.

thats shipping only. lol

thanks for the offer Hippy, will see, i might hit you up .

have to get the drivers first.

Edit. but not at that price.

yep i know about minimarty, fullmarty, johnny sub and others

but I want to stick with 2 sealed. would be preferable for me because of size and time to build.

edit. Nice shot, nice build! What driver did you get and where?

i went with the Ultimax 18-22 from parts express.

initial thoughts are OMFG!!!

just got the one set up at the moment and did some REW calibration.

Can't imagine what it will be like when i get the second one set up (tonight hopefully)

They definately are HUGE, and these are just the mini's.

have you tried modelling with WinISP?

ok great.

you will have to give us your critical thoughts on the differences of one vs two subs, once you finish your second of course.

I know allot of people like me are questioning the cost of another sub vs the improvement.

Hi pass filter or almost any filter is not the problem with damage like that

Power and excursion is, may have been a fault in the spider gluing process.

Bad luck as normally large drivers are rather tough and durable
