Nice! LW, get 4! :D

It doesn't push as much air though. 26.2 cfm = is roughly 44.5 m^3/hr, which is < 1/2 the volume of the 12V noctua at full speed. Depends on the volume required, may not be sufficient?

See http://en.wikipedia....eakon_connector

The fan pushes enough air. I live in north qld in an old high set house and the EP4000 resides in a confined space with the door shut! I can run it all day and yes it is hot but no where near detrimental to the amp. I'll take a temp ready next time I punish it and report back!

I also have purchased the iNuke NU4-6000 from storedj. They called me the next day to confirm details as I paid via paypal and they were shipping it that day. I'll get some more info on that also when I hook it up.

I believe EQ should be used for these setups but mainly to pull the peaks down and not so much to boost the troughs...

Ok i ordered 2 of the inuke Amps. Hopefully that would suffice. Not too worried about fan noise as my room is hella noisy. Ask K1ll3m

Just some quick feedback from the iNuke NU-4 6000. Well it kicks ass! I dont actually know how it does it and stays cool but it works. The fans are noisy so either put it in a cabinet and close the door or move it behind your rack or into the next room. I set mine up on the one channel in bridged mode with my dual 12in dvc earthquake magmas running series/parallel for 3.2ohm and with the Samson S-Converts gain up slightly higher than the EP4000 was set the iNuke with only 5 clicks on the dial was calibrated for my system at 75db.

The Speakon connectors are fricking brilliant and dont know why I didn't do it with the EP4000!

Anyway I just thought I'd update those that wanted to know how the amp is and I am very happy with it and its weight as I can move it around if need be and also the Store DJ's service was excellent but unfortunately they have gone back up to $1019 or you could get the iNuke NU6000 for $639 or the DSP model for $667 delivered from Pro Light and Sound on Ebay- http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Behringer-iNUKE-6000-Watt-DJ-Karaoke-PA-Amplifier-Interface-5-5kg-NU6000DSP/251285584587?_trksid=p2050601.m2451&_trkparms=aid%3D111000%26algo%3DREC.CURRENT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D266%26meid%3D3903849178549494923%26pid%3D100103%26prg%3D1141%26rk%3D2%26rkt%3D4%26sd%3D261226074243%26clkid%3D3903850878119603347&_qi=RTM1582272

Cheers,

The fans are noisy so either put it in a cabinet and close the door or move it behind your rack or into the next room.

Or turn up the volume! :hyper:

You can quiet the fans down if you need but really it's really not that necessary... IIRC there are folks in the US who run their entire setup using PA amps... Not sure any here in Oz do the same?

Cant wait to try the 2 nukes i bought

Next when I get a chance I will hook it up to the Thor PS10 and see what amps this beast pulls as it is quoting 12amps max on 240v!!! (Which I doubt it will ever see in my case)

Watched 20mins of Day Z last night at the Yamahas reference 0db and I nearly pissed myself when the dump truck hits the cop on the bike! Haha. It's way to loud at that volume though and more like -11db may be acceptable (-5db for me though is good :P ).
