PAL is irrelevant on Bluray's and there is a thread for bargains too mate. Greta deals from UK right with free shipping
IanD1503559705
PAL is irrelevant on Bluray's and there is a thread for bargains too mate. Not completely irrelevant for the few titles that include extras at 576i50 or are encoded at 1080i50: PAL fps legacy will probably be around for a while longer. I was just meaning the films without getting too technical. I certainly wouldn't buy a Bluray if that was the resolution

MichaelCPE
It is rather confusing using check-out prices in pounds. Better to use the advertised Amazon price in pounds, or go the whole hog and give us the shipped price in $A.

Mattrix
at checkout is it better to pay in GBP or its convert thing to AUS - looks to be about $10.00 difference between them converting and "live" although do your credit card company's slug you a intl fee? Eth Nick
I always pay in GBP myself, as Westpac has a lower conversion fee (on the Visa I have anyway) than Amazon. It's not much of a saving, though it increases as the pricing of the order increases..
BillyPunter
Even more reason to consider Amazon.co.uk "Super Saver Delivery to Other International destinations Amazon.co.uk offers FREE Super Saver Delivery to the following countries (offer ends May 15, 2011): Australia, India, New Zealand and South Africa." Romper
And now that they have free "Super Saver" shipping on orders over 25 squids it becomes even better. Been meaning to buy the 4 Blakes 7 series (yes DVD I know) for ages, ATM it would cost about 52 pounds delivered, so about A$90. I generally pay id AUD when checking out, St George charges 2.5%, and few times, the exchange rate has changed in between buying and shipping and I have saved again.
