David Herbert Posted April 6, 2012 Share Posted April 6, 2012 G'day, The announcement on the TV deal has been made Foxtel/Austar will have all 9 Games LIVE every week For Free To Air, Seven has the rights where Friday nights will be LIVE in Victoria, it'll be on 7mate in A.C.T, N.S.W. and Qld LIVE South Australia are on a 30min delay on Friday Nights, and W.A. on a reduced delay than what they have now on Seven http://www.afl.com.au/news/newsarticle/tab...60/default.aspx New Foxtel channel "Fox Sports AFL" will be launched, all games originating from Fox Sports will be in HD, and commercial free siren to siren Free To Air broadcasts on Foxtel, will be upscaled on the HD channel So I take it that when the TV deal was announced, 7 had no intention of broadcasting in HD ?
