I suggest that everyone who plays it (ps3 version only) posts up their psn name, that way we can connect to each other and invite each other into the aus servers. scotty79 Posted March 11, 2008 Share Posted March 11, 2008 Alot of the "aus server" issues are related to the latest COD4 patch, which basically makes Australia part of the EU region, hence, no servers. The patch was designed to allow Aussies, and other regions of Asia Pacific to play with the rest of the world (EU and USA) but they didnt account for the bad connections and pings we get down here due to this. I have since deleted the patch and play online without it, i find more aussies, and when there's no aussies im hooked into japan, which although not perfect, is better than hooking into Europe (ping wise). There's alot of detailed accounts of this issue on the net, but i cant find them now cause i have restricted net access at work... toxicfish79 is my call-sign...
