Mining Man Posted August 31, 2007 Posted August 31, 2007 I can't believe you actually remember the date!! Was it NYE or your wedding day perhaps??!! I have no real reason to remember (like everyone else I suspect, it was quite forgettable), but like most things that are meaningless in my life, I remember 'em. Now if I could just find my bloody car keys.
I am not a duck Posted September 1, 2007 Posted September 1, 2007 There were no charts when I was born. One of my family had an acetate (I think) of "You Belong to Me" by Jo Stafford which was supposed to be the hit of the year when I hit the deck bum first. Had a big hole in the middle so my toolmaker father made up an adapter to play it on the home radiogram. Probably ended up as a frisbee many years later.
