jrp001 Posted April 8, 2011 Share Posted April 8, 2011 I bought a HD+ and sent it back.. it was totally useless at reading low level signals & after all, if your installing antennas you will come accross sites where you get less than desirable signal levels. My old Ikusi DSA-500 beats it hands down, which is a shame because the HD+ is feature packed but cant take basic measurements What level did the ikusi go down to & what level did the HD+ go down to? Well my signal level is quite high because I'm using a 42db Kingray MHW42FS .. this is because I live behind a mountains and am getting a reflected signal from the mountains behind me... so overall the signal level is around 73dB (34dB of real signal and 39dB of amplified signal taking into account the loss from all the unwanted channels my MH can see) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
