Can anybody recommend a technician capable of adjusting a new laser on this old ,but magic Pioneer CD player...had the laser replaced here in Tassie,but the guy could not get the alignment 100 % right. The PD-77 has a all copper chassis and the "up side down disc"/ Stable Platter mechanics...also would like to get some mods done... Thanks for your help Helmut

Steve M Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 (edited) Helmut: Pat O'Brien at WAR Audio here in Perth is familiar with the Pioneer PD-77, he has modded them with new clocks etc. He has also had in shop the flagship Pioneer PD-95. I might talk to ZM in Melbourne first...than again ,the Ulysees meeting is in Albany early next year and I am riding over mid February for that,might throw the Pioneer into the bike trailer and go see Pat...it's been some 20 years since our first meeting ......bugger,I am getting old...
