mcphee Posted June 21, 2005 Share Posted June 21, 2005 I using a Humax HD7000 STB connected via DVI to a Samsung Plasma PS42p4h. I get horizontal lines approx 3 pixels wide all the way down the screen on the left & sometimes on the top. The lines appear at random eg Sometimes there and sometimes not, when using the STB. When not using the STB and using the tuner within the TV the lines do not appear. I suspect the problem is with the STB. I have the latest firmware on the STB. Does anybody know what may be causing the horizontal lines <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I have the same problem with the ps42d3sxk ( Ithink that's it) and the Teac db800 I only noticed it when I also noticed that the DVI optrion did not have the Plasma save turn on and I turned it on. I'll check tonight with it turned off. ( It looks like you need to set this option separately for the DVI.
