Speakers as new save for a 1mm indentation along one of the speaker's top side edges (too small to photograph without a macro lens). Speaker stands similarly present as new. Also included are both item's original boxes and paperwork. Reason for selling: Had been in storage for the past 18 months due to lack of a suitable space. Now with the recent family addition of a boisterous young son it's time to accept the reality that these speakers would be better off in a safer, more accomodating home. I used them in my system from Oct'13 through Oct'14 before putting them into storage due to a move of house. A limited edition bookshelf speaker produced to celebrate Dynaudio's 25th anniversary, the Special 25 shares the superb Esotar2 tweeter as found on the C1 but pairs it with an 8" woofer, all housed in a larger, heavier cabinet. They are beautiful speakers with a sonic signature exhibiting great detail, an expansive soundstage, and extended bass (for a bookshelf).
