Is dairy bad for you?

Featured Replies

You can buy A2 ice cream as well

It's not that good, if you want creamy you can get it slightly better at half the price with Streets classic vanilla.

Edit: oh! lactose free huh, no idea, I was on the wrong track.

Cows milk is for baby cows, I avoid dairy That being said, how good is blue cheese

  • Could be something in that. Thats why I don't eat grass.

No, they don't have the protein caesin it, a lot of people are intolerant of that as well

Actually just correction both have the protein caesin. It's just that one has a1 the other a2. Both are beta-caesin proteins :)

Ah ha, thanks for the info

Thats why we invented beer, wine and spirits. :D

But don't try them in your cereal, still some spirits in your espresso is yum.

Now here are some drinks that are not naturally produced by any animal.

It's called water intoxication, causes electrolyte imbalance and swelling of the brain

Yes a story  a few years ago. Some hikers ( I can't remember the track in PNG?) because of continually sipping water on their treck started dropping dead beacuse of it.

This divine design theory thing makes me chuckle

After I got north of 45, my tummy cried enough regarding wheat and dairy. We have zymil milk which is easier on the guts.

yup that's what we drink too...

My uncle died a long and horrible death from bowel cancer so when my tummy started playing up I got a bit worried. Endoscopy etc later and quacks said it is just an intolerance to the modern diet. They see it all the time apparently.

Milk's not really anything modern though, no?

I wouldn't imagine so, commenting maybe moreso about the proliferation of processed wheat products so maybe digression from the op. However so many dietary issues are usually more than one thing, if the tummy starts getting grumpy.

Depends on your definition of modern. Homo habilis appeared about 3 million years ago, Homo sapiens about 250, 000 years ago. We started drinking milk about 7000 years ago.

I'd call that reasonably modern in the context of human history
