  1. Agree that this is a wonderful system. Mine is similar, although I'm still waiting for the Elektra amps! You are absolutely correct about the several months wait. I have both a reference 2ch and a 7ch on order. Also, I have Rel T9x subs. All the best with your sale, and your poor health
  2. Hi, it's a little hard to compare as the Cinema 50 is an AVR and Anthem is a pre/processor with separate amp(s). The Cinema 50 certainly holds its own, and has pre-outs for separate amps too. Also I'm still waiting for my Elektra amps to really test the Anthem's potential.
  3. Further Information: Bought a few months ago and it re-ignited my passion for hifi and I've upgraded to an Anthem AVM70. In perfect working order. Warm and natural sound. Plenty of power. In original box, so easy shipping.
  4. I'm surprised. I have the Eversolo A8 and I'm thrilled with it. Fantastic soundstage and beautiful musicality.
  5. Thanks for the advice. I've changed my order and now just have to wait and wait and wait for Arthur to build them.
  6. Thanks. Very helpful. Apparently more than 60% of the "sound" goes to centre channel. That's why I went for the extra reference amp. Maybe I went too far! It's interesting that difference between the 7 ch and the reference was not that noticeable. I think I still want high quality 2 ch for music. I'm loving the Krix. As good as my ears would ever need.
  7. I have 2 elektra reference 2 channels on order. I wanted the best possible amplification for the Epicentrix centre speaker. Perhaps I could change the order for one of the reference to a 7 channel?
  8. Thanks, that's very helpful. Speakers are: FL C FR + 2 surround and 4 in ceiling + 2 subwoofers
  9. Hi I am (eventually) going to get 2 Elektra Reference 2 channel amps for my anthem AVM70 pre/processor. I have another 7 channel amp and will be running a 5.2.4 configuration. One Elektra will power Front L&R, (Krix Neophonix) the subwoofes have their own 300W amps and the 7 channel will run the surrounds/atmos. The other Elektra is primarily for the centre (Krix Epicentrix). As the Elektra has the facility to be bridged, should I do that for the centre speaker? Or I guess I could bi-amp with the 2 channels too? This might be a dumb question, but here goes anyway - if I bridge the Elektra it offers 1000W, will that mean it's much louder than the Front L&R (with 300W)? I look forward to your thoughts. Thanks Stephen
  10. Hi Happy to be here. I'm a Linn fan with man system Klouts and Keltiks. Marantz Cinema 50 for films and TV. Focal Chora 805 for surround and Rel TX9 sub.
