  3. For those of you who know him, Richard Seah has passed away on 11 May morning in Manila Philippines. I met him many years ago when he was dealing with JPS Labs cable. Only got in touch with him last year through facebook and he was already battling cancer. RIP!
  4. Fantastic! Been listening a lot on my desktop lately via my Hugo and this is a nice sweetener !
  5. Yes indeed. Chord is entering the streaming game. A similar product has also been planned for the Hugo2 and I will watch this closely.
  6. Oh.. those exotic stuffs which I cannot afford. :(
  7. I am using custom cables with standard Amphenol RCA plugs like the ones pictured in the link: http://www.amphenolaudio.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/m-connector-group.jpg
  8. Is yours the older version or the new version ? The new version should allow you to fit most RCA plugs.
  9. Preferably black in colour. Must be local set with box, receipt and warranty. PM your asking price and condition.
  10. Looks like a replacement of the superuniti to me.
  11. QC35 gets my vote by far in terms of overall comfort, noise cancelling and sound. Got mine from Australia after tax deduction and conversion is like ~475SGD.
  12. lol.. I still remember auditioning at AS few years back when one customer walk in to buy a missing clamp for his CDP and it cost $50 bucks! I was thinking to myself wow this must be some serious shit!
  13. Well if have an XPS/272/250 there are no other boxes to save for..
  14. It has been widely practised (even AS does that) to add a NDAC to improve the NDX but adding more boxes does not sing will with me. Why not save up for the XPS-DR ?
  15. The slight pop is normal for Naim amp. I don't like it but I have grown to accept it.
  16. So far I am unable to hear the difference between FLAC and WAV in my system. What is really interesting is them saying that the size of album art (being part of the metadata) having an effect on sound. This may means that the decoder is constantly having to manage these metadata, despite them being a constant during the decoding process and hence this processing load adds noise/jitter to the sound.
  17. Good to know that. On paper, the Graham LS5/9 is supposed to be faithful to the original BBC specs whereas the M30.1 is supposed to have deviated from it (for the better) after revisions by Harbeth.
  18. Wonder why the SH5HLplus was used as a comparison initially. I thought the Graham LS5/9 should be compared with the Harbeth M30.1 ?
  19. Yeah, I have no issue with AS service. So far I had the NDX Naim logo changed (without charges) due to the bleeding issue commonly discussed and also the display which I was told has a "finite" lifetime.
  20. Disappointing to have it fail so soon. Hope you get it back fast.
  21. This post cannot be displayed because it is in a forum which requires at least 10 posts to view.
  22. Watched it last week and it was awesome. Teared too at the part Liang sang with his Dad... ;'''-(
