  5. Thanks for posting your setup, there must be quite a lot of settings involved on the 323 to work with PCH? My budget is quite tight, I was thinking should I get the 323 first, then probably a newer PCH will come out with new features then buy, or just get a PCH with 1TB HDD.
  6. As in do you stream from your PC, use a NAS or some other ways to share video to watch on the PCH?
  7. Would you mind posting your setup? I'd like to see different options before deciding for one. ;D
  8. There are several formats I have, most of them are avi, mkv and mp4. My PC HDD are filling up due to the massive mkv filesize. The Popcorn Hour can play most of the formats right? I understand that mkv is a container which contains different video and audio, can the PCH handle most of them? My main purpose is to reduce the hassle of my current situation which I need to configure TVersity and the codecs in my PC to be able to stream to my PS3 but everytime I encounter problems.
  9. Thanks for the link, looks like I've got lots of reading to do. Btw, if I were to choose the simplest solution, would I be better off getting Popcorn Hour and a slot 1TB drive into the device?
  10. Hmm, don't have much experience with these products, do you mind recommending a basic model that can easily be used with Popcorn Hour? I read the specs and seems like only to pro model support NFS? http://www.qnap.com/images/products/comparison/Comparison_TS109.html Thanks.
  11. Damn... that is such a bummer.. So my only solution is to use the [a] option? I'll do a search up on this later. So if I purchase a NAS like a D-Link 323, things would be easier to setup?
  12. Hi guys, sorry but I'm totally new to this Popcorn Hour. Basically my setup now is stream the video from my PC using TVersity to watch the videos on my PS3, but all the codecs required to get them to work are killing me. Does Popcorn Hour works by simply sharing your video folder from PC (i'm using Vista), and Popcorn Hour can just play the shared video files on your TV? I don't have a NAS right now so my option is to stream the video from my PC.
  13. Gosh... this is a great deal! Are they still having this offer now?

  15. Hi tsammyc, thanks for the info. Any other speakers setup besides the Logitech Z5500?
  16. Sorry I'm really new to the HD stuff, what's the difference between HD audio and DTS?
  17. Oh hey, I've seen this before. It can be used on the PS3 too?
  18. Hi All, I'm here to ask another question, hope you guys can help out here. I've purchased a few Blu-ray disc to watch on my PS3, according to the Blu-ray box, the audio is 5.1. When i watch it with my tv with the sound output to my tv, the volume gets very low even when I try to push to volume up. I am thinking if it's the 5.1 sound support problem due normal tv only has 2 front speakers. So, I am looking for a very budget 5.1 sound system which can cater for the sound output from my PS3 Blu-ray movies, do you guys have any recommendations? Say.. my budget is around $500? Is that too cheap to ask for? Thanks.
