In the end, all i had to do was switch off the "DRC Mode" on my Sony XBR45 television. This feature "Produces a high-resolution picture for high-density sources (e.g., Blu-ray disc player)." Once that was done, the audio/video was perfect.

How do i check that? I've looked through the menu, but i can't find it. I put on the doco from "The Thing" Blu-ray and there was no problem with the audio. When i changed over to the film, the audio goes out of sync.

No worries, i will leave it on Sharp. Is the possible 'delay through image processing' something i can adjust from either the player settings or the amp?

Hi guys. I have a Sony BDP-S550 connected to a Yamaha RX-V3900 and i've had a few instances where the audio seems to be out of sync with the video. Can anyone tell me if i have to change any settings on the player to fix this? I've gone into the 'A/V Settings' while watching a movie, and i've adusted the AV SYNC options, but is this something that i need to do everytime i select a movie? Should the Audio Filter be set to 'Sharp' or 'Slow'? Thanks in advance.

I have recently bought the red Elite Xbox 360, with Resident Evil 5. Are there any known problems playing this system on Sony LCD televisions? I have got the Sony 46" XBR45 model tv. When i was checking out the demo games that were installed, and i encountered a problem. Playing "Pac-Man", the controller seemed to be a bit off, in regards to movement around the maze. It seems to be close to a one second delay when i move left/right or up/down. I also downloaded the "Galaga" demo, and it has the same problem. The ship will not respond immediately when prompted, making it especially difficult when trying to dodge enemy fire. Is this something that can be easily fixed? I have tried to resync the wireless controller, and put in new batteries, but no luck. It's frustrating paying $567 for the 'Elite' model, and i run into difficulties trying to play 'Pac-Man'. The gameplay for RE5 i thought was fine at first, but my brother has the same game, and he pointed out that it seemed to be a tad sluggish. I couldn't compare it, as i have never owned an Xbox before now. Any help would be much appreciated.

I asked about this setup, and the sales rep told me pretty much the same thing. Those rears did feel light & cheap. I guess looks ain't everything.

I'm midway through "The Invaders" season 2. I know there was a remake, that 'did not' get picked up into a full series. I'd like to see that on dvd sometime soon. I really dig those cheesy flying saucers.

If it were at that price, i'd get one with the impending stimulus bonus.

I'm in the market for a Sony 46" XBR45. What's the best price this is going for at the moment? I've seen a few guys on here got theirs for $4900 & $4950. Does that sound about right? With thanks from the latest newbie.
