  1. Selling my dvd cabinets as I updated all my furniture and these no longer go with anything. They hold 135 dvd's each. In perfect condition. Paid $400 each Pickup only in Brisbane http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b330/SXI55S/DSC00478.jpg Can take a picture of them with doors closed if wanted. $150 each
  2. Don't use this remote as much as I thought I would so its been sitting in the cupboard going to waste. Its in perfect condition Works with samsung PDP C7000, LED C7000 & C8000. Programmable to operate any device Info here: http://www.samsung.com/au/consumer/t...ail&returnurl= $200
  3. thats funny cause the latest firmware update has improved 3D performance quite considerably on my C8000.....
  4. On my samsung C8000 ghosting is very obvious on the foxtel 3D channel, however when watching a 3D bluray there is zero ghosting. 3D is just breathtaking. In my experience the LCD's 3D performance is very dependent on source quality
  5. The Handy cam look you are getting to the picture is because of the motion flow settings. Turn it all to off and you wont experience that at all. Yes it is recommended to update the firmware, you can see what your tv has in the support menu. The latest version is on the website. I have noticed big improvements in mine with the firmware upgrades compared to when I first got it. Enjoy
  6. I'm running the latest (2002) but noticed the problem with the previous firmware. Can only notice if I'm really looking for it though.
  7. I have noticed the same on mine. No issue at all with blu-ray so I put it down to poor quality broadcast
  8. agreed, I thought it was appalling. The commentary at the end was lame also.
  9. No you need a satellite feed to be able to watch what is recorded on the hard drive.
  10. haven't noticed it on my UK copy, fell asleep half way through though so I will watch it again soon and keep an eye out for it
  11. I doubt you will find anyone willing to enter the service manual. I have this tv and there is no way im going near it. Are you running the latest firmware? If not try doing that and see if that fixes your problem
  12. I really don't understand what the big fuss is over wearing glasses for 3D. They are so light you can hardly tell your wearing them. I wear prescription glasses and 3D glasses fit easily over the top. Nobody seems to winge about wearing them in the cinema but when it comes to the home no one seems to like the idea at all. Seems to me the people who haven't got a positive thing to say about 3D are the people who haven't bothered to take the time to experience it for themselves.
  13. you will need a satellite or cable connection for it to work. Simply plugging it in via HDMI wont work.
  14. I'm getting a Samsung 32" UA32C6900 for the bedroom shortly. Look it up on the website, about as much features as you will find in a small tv.
  15. I don't doubt what you are saying at all, the panel is exactly the same as the 8 series with exact same specs beside the 9 series not having local dimming, its basically the outside they have changed which I don't see how they can justify the big jump in price. Even if I had the spare cash I don't think I would have got this instead of my 8 series. I could justify an extra thousand or so but not nearly double the price.
  16. Not worth even close to the price in my opinion. There are basically no extra features over this tv than my UA55C8000 beside the fact that its thinner in size and comes with the touch screen remote which I bought for $350. I do like the fact that all the wires plug into the base though.
  17. Also try adjusting the 3D optimisation setting in the 3D menu. Mine was set to +1. I changed it to 0 and now I have next to no ghosting and is so much easier on the eyes, made a big difference
  18. yeah no worries, I'll get it to you as soon as I can
  19. Was just playing around with the 3D settings and I found that the 3D optimisation in the 3D menu was set to +1. I dropped this back to 0 and wow what a difference! Very little to no ghosting now, everything looks so much smoother and my eyes felt no strain what so ever. Well worth trying out and seeing what works best for you
  20. has anyone been able to find some optimum settings for 3D viewing?
